The Food Justice Corridor is an overarching plan that Kinfolk Community Empowerment Center has developed in partnership with the nonprofit, business, faith, and grassroots communities to transform the targeted distressed neighborhoods into a vibrant 21st Century green and health-active corridor, marked by new, sustainable employment, homeownership, urban farms and greenways, with programs that build and affirm self-efficacy, dignity, and self-sufficiency for individuals, while empowering the entire community.
Kinfolk is dedicated to building an empowered community and reducing inequalities in physical health, financial well-being, and quality of life within Richmond neighborhoods.
